Founded in 2024 by Chris Argyropoulos, Poseidon's Grill was born out of a passion for preserving the true essence of Greek cuisine. Chris, a visionary entrepreneur and lover of authentic Greek food, noticed a concerning trend in the landscape of Greek food in Melbourne. Despite the abundance of Greek restaurants, many seemed to have lost touch with the classic homemade authenticity and quality that defines Greek cuisine.
Driven by a deep-rooted desire to reconnect people with the traditional tastes of Greece, Chris needed to create a dining experience that would capture the heart and soul of Greek flavours. Drawing inspiration from his own upbringing and the cherished recipes passed down through his family, he envisioned a place where every dish would evoke memories of sun-drenched afternoons in Greece.
